What are the minimum hardware requirements for running cmdtyView Excel?
The minimum software requirements for cmdtyView Excel are as follows:

- Storage - At least 500MB of available disk space

Where are my log files located?
We do a fair amount of logging for cmdtyView Excel and the first step in the troubleshooting process should always be to grab the log files and send them over to our support crew at real-time@barchart.com.
The log files are located in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Barchart\cmdtyView Excel where ‘’ is the name of the local user of the PC where you’re grabbing the log files from. The aforementioned directory is hidden by default and will need to be unhidden by going to your Control Panel and selecting the option to Show all Files and Folders.
Does cmdtyView Excel run on a Mac?
Yes, cmdtyView for Excel is compatible across Windows, Mac, and cloud environments.
Am I required to run cmdtyView Desktop in order power cmdtyView Excel?
No. cmdtyView Excel is its own stand-alone service which can operate independent of the cmdtyView Desktop or in parallel to.
Is cmdtyView Excel included with my cmdtyView subscription?
