Add-in Preferences

The Preferences icon will allow you to turn off both the History and Chart tooltip and the historical data refresh in addition to setting a timezone and hlighiting symbol cells of inactive or settled instruments.

Historical Data Refresh

Disable cmdtyView for Excel’s auto refresh of historical data by turning the Historical Data Refresh off. When disabled, a sheet that contains historical data will not pick up the most recent data and will require a manual refresh.

New Data Configuration

When querying historical data, opt to save your data columns applied (symbol, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, OpenInterest) or allow the fields to revert to the default columns each time a historical query is inserted.

Time Zone Settings

Update the timezone in which the ‘Timestamp’, ‘Last Time (Available)’ and ‘VolumeTimestamp’ fields display by selecting Exchange, Local or GMT. Note, the data will require an update (message) or a restart of excel to take effect.

Highlight Symbol Cell When Settled

Opt to Highlight the ‘Symbol’ cell for instruments that are currently settled or have not traded in their current open session.
